Privacy and
analytics choices.
Indiana Nerds uses Google Analytics to understand visits to our website and company preview pages, and which contact, portfolio, navigation, and demonstration buttons people click.
What is measured
Analytics includes the published page address, general device and browser information, referral website, visit timing, and selected button clicks. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions, and processes connection information to provide approximate location reports. Click counts show interest; they do not confirm a call, text, email, or inquiry was completed.
Our tracking sends the published page address without query strings or fragments. Referral addresses are limited to the website origin. Only a small set of preset campaign labels is accepted. We do not send form entries, contact-link text, email subjects, or message bodies to analytics. Advertising features are disabled.
Preview reports also include the business name, county and preview ID. We measure time spent actively viewing a preview, including whether a visit reaches 30 seconds, one minute or two minutes. The additional milestones count time while the page is visible and focused, excluding background time.
A preview visit does not identify the person viewing it or confirm that a particular email recipient opened it. Automated email security checks and browser privacy tools can affect the counts. Visits before measurement was enabled are not available.
Company previews are independent concepts, not those businesses’ official websites. Their example fields are disabled. Demonstration clicks may be counted, but the buttons do not send a customer inquiry to the business.
Your choice
You can turn analytics off for this browser below. The preference is saved in a necessary cookie for one year and applies to indiananerds.com and www.indiananerds.com. Clearing cookies removes it. Repeat this choice in any other browser or device you use. We also keep analytics off when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
JavaScript is required to display and save the analytics preference. Analytics does not run without JavaScript.
This privacy page does not send analytics. Your saved choice applies when you next visit the homepage or a company preview.
